Stubbs & Wootton: Ordering 'bespoke' is a piece of cake !

Ordering Bespoke at Stubbs & Wootton loafers/slippers is easy as cake. Belgian Dandy did the test.

Since bespoke offers you the possibility to be different, thus more exclusive, than a pair out of the normal range, we chose to make it a-not-so-discreet pair ! And make it completely different than what people might expect. This time we set soberness aside and went full color ! A bold and daring pair is what we wanted !

This is how they appear on screen
So we surfed to www.stubbsandwootton.com and clicked on bespoke
Then, on your right side you have te option to choose between motif or monogram. Made our choice so clicked on 'create your own'. Simply select your fabric, trim and embroidery (lots of choices here !) and create your own astonishing combination.

Belgian Dandy's tips: The black, blue and burgundy versions of velevet slippers are available at so many brands nowadays. We went for something completely different. So we went for something completely different ! Try colour-blocking. I tried purple and yellow, and like it a lot. A bit daring, but hey, we were not shopping for discreet shoes. The softness of the purple was 'hardened' by choosing a tattoo-like embroidery. Yet the combination of the softer, to some female, colour purple, and the more masculine 'macho-tattoo'.
In real life. As you might notice, the quality embroidery is a lot larger in real life. Me like !!
Since in mainland Europe the velvet slipper is not well known as a gent's shoe (yet), at Belgian Dandy we like to combine it with a quite tough camo chino ! Talking about being noticeable ! The contrast of the bright colours of the Stubbs, compared to the 'softness' of the camo: Great contrast ! Refined versus 'oh so casual roughness'.
I'm sure they will or might even look even better with white pants. But I don't think my feet aren't quite up to it yet. Not tanned enough. Yet this combinations should do it right now.
I wore this combination while going to Lamborghioni Belgium, as was to Bentley Belgium. Maybe they frowned when I entered.... couldn't notice that. But hey, the reception was like a king. Was it because of this daring combination ? Or was it my reputation. Anyway, the Stubbs fitted well in the Lamborghini Gallardo, as well as in the Bentley GT V8 !

So what's holding you of ordering your bespoke pair of Stubbs & Wootton ?  Be personal ! Be daring !
